Main Purpose of Job

  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for strategic growth with existing and new customers
  • Building and managing the international opportunities pipeline
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer accounts
  • Creating and implementing a Marketing and PR strategy
  • Co-ordinating the Commercial team in providing feedback and supporting market information regarding market trends, customer needs and competitor’s actions
  • Acting as deputy for Commercial Director as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively follow up sales activities with customers & potential customers
  • Create and implement a rolling Marketing and PR strategy/plan for the company for approval by the directors to be deployed locally, nationally and internationally.
  • Create and implement high impact marketing and PR campaigns to launch new lines of business or products, and to support exhibitions and trade shows as required
  • Monitor the status of all live enquiries to ensure opportunity related actions are completed in a timely professional manner and escalated to the CD when required, coaching and supporting other team members as necessary
  • Identify and analyse the reasons for failures to turn an enquiry into a new order
  • Monitor and report on company sales KPIs and sales performance
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information within company CRM system
  • Co-ordinate market information on behalf of AGD
  • Co-ordinate the market and client news in order to produce sales leads, brief staff and have a library of live information for use in company blogs, newsletters and e-shots
  • Manage the design and production of all marketing and PR collateral as required
  • Maintain and manage the development of the company’s website

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Sales and marketing: 5+ years
  • Supervisory: 2+ years
  • Ability to advise, lead and mentor other staff within the commercial team
  • Willingness and desire to travel extensively within the UK and overseas on behalf of the company or TTG
  • CRM/SAP or equivalent business systems
  • Presentation skills to Director level
  • Co-ordinating international exhibitions and other marketing events
  • Utilising the web to promote and advertise company products/services
